Introduction:

• Surveying may be defined as the method of making measurements of the relative positions of, natural & man-made features on earth’s surface and the presentation of this information either graphically or numerically.
• The commonest methods of presentation are by means of a plan or map.
• Both plans and maps are the graphical representations of the features on a horizontal plane.
• Plan is a large scale representation whereas man is a small scale representation.
• Height information can be added either as spot heights, which are individual heights of points, or as contours which give a less detailed but better visual representation of the area.

• भारत में प्रथम कम्प्यूटर 16, अगस्त 1986 ई को बंगलुरू के प्रधान डाकघर में लगाया गया था।
• भारत का प्रथम कम्प्यूट्रीकृत डाकघर नई दिल्ली का है।

Sky Bridge | Langkawi, Malaysia | Discoveries | Engineer Ji

Design & Construction:

• The bridge is 125 meters long, and 1.8 meters wide (the middle section has a wider walkway), with two steel railings as well as steel wire mesh on either sides. It is designed as a curved walkway to maximise the viewing experience, providing shifting perspective as a visitor walks along the bridge. The walkway, formed of steel and concrete panels set on top of an inverted triangular truss, connects two hilltops at Gunung Mat Chinchang. The first 25m of the bridge is straight, following 3 curved 25m sections, then a final straight 25m section.
